All your players need to do is roll:

• d20 backgrounds (with starting equipment)
• d20 hindrances
• d20 names
• d6 bonus qualities
• d6 improvised weapons
• d6 handy equipment
• d6 HP

It includes some very simple rules, which are just the core of my homebrew system, but you could use these characters in any old school system.
